FABRICATION OPERATOR

Monday - Friday

7:00 am - 3:30 pm

$18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate roll formers, presses, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Cut, bend, form, and assemble sheet metal components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Use molds, jigs, and fixtures to maintain accurate dimensions and consistent quality.
Operate drills, grinders, clamps, mallets, measuring instruments, and other fabrication tools.
Prepare, position, and load raw materials into fabrication equipment.
Inspect completed parts for proper dimensions, alignment, workmanship, and quality.
Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, and production inconsistencies.
Make minor adjustments to tooling, molds, and fixtures as needed.
Safely move, organize, and store raw materials and fabricated components.
Clean and perform basic maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of fabrication, sheet metal forming, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with roll-forming equipment, presses, or sheet metal machinery preferred.
Ability to read and follow fabrication drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull materials weighing 85 pounds or more.
Ability to work around moving machinery, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, loud noise, and changing temperatures.
