Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 Patients

The Cardiac ICU unit provides care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment for cardiac-related conditions. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technologies and includes a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to patient care.

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician

Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Meditech

Typical Procedures:

• Intubations
• Central line placements
