• 3+ years of experience
• BLS and ACLS are both required.
• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery/cardiac drips/post-op open-heart patients and other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients.
• RN will be required to float to other units in times of low volumes or coverage crisis, although this is not expected.
• The RN candidate MUST have experience with the following: Open-Heart, and Epic EMR.
• Candidates should be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed.

• RN will work 36 hrs/weeknight shift (7p – 7:30a).
• RN will typically work every 3rd weekend and cover 1 holiday, but this is subject to change based on census and staffing.
• There is no on-call required, but the RN may be asked to take a rare call day in times of fluctuating census/staffing.
• RN will be required to float to other units in times of low volumes or coverage crisis, although this is not expected.
• While ventilator patients are not typically admitted to this unit, the RN may be required to care for a ventilated patient in rare circumstances based on patient needs and staffing requirements.
• Candidates should be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed.
