Accounting Manager Kearney , NE Direct Hire Accounting $80K to $120K 08/31/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $120,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month end close activities in a high volume sales environment. Manage revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple sales channels and customer platforms. Monitor inventory activity, cost allocations, product profitability, and inventory controls to support accurate financial records. Maintain and optimize accounting system integrations while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of transactional data. Train and support accounting staff while implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+years of full cycle accounting experience with progressive levels of responsibility. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and experience working with accounting software integrations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management functions. Previous experience managing month end close processes, financial statement preparation, and accounting controls. Qualifications: Prior experience in e-commerce, multi channel sales, retail, distribution, or other high transaction volume environments. Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, product margin analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies. Familiarity with sales tax compliance, payment processors, third party sales platforms, and logistics providers. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.
