Senior Director, External Manufacturing Regulatory Compliance

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Director to provide enterprise-level regulatory compliance oversight across the Innovative Medicine external manufacturing network. The role leads compliance strategy, risk visibility, and governance while working across a matrixed global organization to strengthen regulatory adherence and prevent isolated issues from becoming enterprise vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature external manufacturing compliance oversight strategy aligned with enterprise objectives
• Establish mechanisms for identifying, monitoring, and escalating significant compliance risks across the supplier network
• Provide independent compliance perspective on partnerships, acquisitions, technology transfers, and network changes
• Lead through influence across quality, operations, supply chain, and regulatory functions to strengthen decision quality
• Build and develop a high-performing compliance organization with succession strength and inclusive leadership

Requirements

• Extensive regulatory compliance experience in external manufacturing or contract operations
• Demonstrated enterprise leadership and ability to influence across matrixed, distributed organizations
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing regulations, inspection readiness, and risk assessment
• Experience with governance frameworks, escalation processes, and remediation oversight
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across quality, supply chain, and regulatory functions
• Track record developing high-performing compliance teams and building organizational capability
