Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Location: Homewood, AL Company: Sam's Club #8247, 201 Lakeshore Pkwy, Homewood, AL 35209-7105 Position Summary Prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for members through following recipes and preparing warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise to keep items fresh and help members with bakery orders. In a fast‑paced environment they support customer satisfaction and team collaboration. You will make an impact by: Ensuring high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area Maintaining cleaned shelves, temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food Maintaining the sales floor per company policies, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages Keeping the area clean, sanitized, and member‑ready What you'll do… Be a Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates, communicate effectively, and be flexible to business needs. Be an Expert : Prepare food per specifications, plan future productions, adhere to food safety standards, maintain equipment, and demonstrate product layout execution. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Food Service experience Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) Compensation Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $25.00, with eligible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
