Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse

Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency with CVOR protocols and technology
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
Responsibilities
- Provide direct preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to complications promptly
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring the operating room runs efficiently
