Food Production & Packaging IMMEDIATE Openings

Location: Long Island City, Queens

Pay: $18 hour Overtime: $27 hour

Join a fast paced food production team where youll cut, wrap, pack, and prepare specialty cheese products for customer orders. If you have experience in food prep, deli, grocery, packaging, production, or warehouse work, we encourage you to apply!

• Cut, wrap, pack, and prepare specialty cheeses for customer orders in a fast paced food production environment.
• Cut cheese to specified sizes using a wire cutter
• Wrap products neatly and securely
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Prepare products for shipping
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Keep your work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Experience in food prep, food production, packaging, deli, restaurant, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands on work
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Food Handler Certification is a plus
• Must have flexibility in schedule, be able to work overtime as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Long Island City, NY 11101.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
