Job OverviewHubbell is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Co-Op to support ongoing projects within our engineering and operations teams. This role will be responsible for organizing and creating a system for spare parts management, updating and managing CAD drawings, and developing value stream maps to identify process improvement opportunities. This role will sit onsite in Wadsworth, Ohio at our Metal Oxide Viristor maufacturing plant. A Day In The Life.Organize, standardize and implement a spare parts inventory system including updating part numbers and creating work instructions to ensure accurate cycle counts.Update and revise facility AutoCAD drawings for utility management.Create value stream maps to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities .Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to gather feedback on projects.Support other engineering and continuous improvement projects as needed.What will you gainHands on experience with engineering documentation and manufacturing support systemsExposure to real-world applications of Lean principlesMentorship from experienced engineers with a strong team atmosphereA foundational role in helping drive efficiency and organization in a manufacturing environment.What will help you thrive in this role?Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.Proficiency in AutoCADFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing ConceptsStrong attention to detail and organizationHubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
