About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Neuro unit within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 on day shift
• Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and patient management
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• May be required to float to units within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Deliver care in a facility offering advanced cardiac and neurosurgery services, including Spine Center accreditation

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

• 2+ years of RN experience in an ICU or Neuro setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience with neurology or neurosurgery patient populations
