ICU Registered Nurse - 12 Hour Days

This is a 13-week contract position.

12 hour Days, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients with complex needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, showcasing the ability to handle life-threatening conditions and participate in aggressive treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for critically ill patients in a 18-bed ICU setting.
• Monitor hemodynamics and titrate critical drips, including Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans for patients.
• Utilize advanced technologies and equipment, including mechanical ventilation and telemetry.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and expectations.
• Participate in patient rounds and report to the Hospitalist and charge nurse as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license and BLS, ACLS certification required.
• Two years of critical care experience, with preferences for CRRT and IABP, Impella experience.
• Travel experience required; must be able to float to Stepdown or Med-Surg as necessary.
• PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
