This position requires a commitment to patient comfort and safety and maintaining high quality and compliance standards in imaging practices.**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** **Diagnostic Procedures:** Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures on patients, including preparing them for exams, positioning them appropriately, selecting the correct imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality.* **Data Management:** Enter and monitor patient data accurately within the EMR system.* **Equipment Quality Assurance:** Conduct regular quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and safety.* **Incident Reporting:** Promptly identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to departmental management.* **Patient and Staff Safety:** Always ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.* **Additional Duties:** Perform tasks or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or department director.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.* Certifications: ARDMS certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.* Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.Experience:* Sonography: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
