Schedule

8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch, typically from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or starting at 7:00 PM for night shifts.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This role involves assessment, patient management in all procedural phases, and effective communication with physicians and mid-level providers regarding the plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and charting according to the Radiology Flowsheet.
• Manage patients during pre, intra, and post-procedural phases.
• Insert IV lines and prepare patients for scheduled CT procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care.
• Provide nursing care for a range of interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies and pain management injections.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology.
• Proficiency in IV starts is a must.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Pediatric experience is not necessary, but PALS certification is mandatory.
