Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Renewable Energy industries. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with reciprocating or mobile equipment, mechanical system design, and project execution from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities Develop mechanical engineering designs, technical specifications, and detailed engineering documentation Perform engineering calculations, analysis, equipment sizing, and selection Support installation activities and provide field engineering support when required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project integration and execution Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements Coordinate with OEM packagers, vendors, and general contractors throughout project lifecycle Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and technical reviews Support troubleshooting and optimization of gas compression, chiller, and mobile equipment systems Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline Experience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Renewable Energy sectors Strong understanding of reciprocating and/or mobile equipment Experience with gas compression systems and chillers Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Experience with equipment selection, analysis, and mechanical calculations Ability to manage projects from concept to completion Experience coordinating with third‑party OEM vendors and contractors Strong communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications Field installation and commissioning support experience Knowledge of industry standards and mechanical design best practices Strong problem‑solving and project coordination skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group
