Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Pay Range: $31.35 $45.50 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Under the direction of the Cardiologist and/or Interventional Radiologist, the Cath Lab/IR Technologist assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and radiology procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating procedures, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, preparing procedure rooms, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients.
• Monitor and document physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment readiness.
• Adhere to sterile technique, radiation safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and staff training.
• Complete accurate procedural documentation and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred. 3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 6. Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $51.66.
