Data Entry ClerkWe are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents.ResponsibilitiesTransfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scannersType in data provided directly from customersVerify data by comparing it to source documentsUpdate existing dataRetrieve data from the database or electronic files as requestedPerform regular backups to ensure data preservationSkillsProven experience as data entry clerkFast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferredExcellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devicesHigh school degree or equivalent
