Commercial Electrician / Mini Excavator Operator

Job Description

On Electrical Staffing Company is currently hiring an experienced Commercial Electrician who also has proven experience operating a Mini Excavator (Mini X) for a project in Doraville, GA.

Mini Excavator experience is REQUIRED for this position.

While candidates must have commercial electrical experience, this position will primarily involve operating a Mini Excavator and performing underground electrical work as needed.

Please apply ONLY if you have hands-on experience safely operating a Mini Excavator.

Responsibilities

Operate a Mini Excavator safely and efficiently
Excavate and trench for underground electrical installations
Assist with underground conduit installation
Perform commercial electrical work as needed
Bend and install EMT conduit
Pull wire and make electrical connections
Perform electrical terminations
Follow jobsite and OSHA safety requirements
Coordinate with the electrical crew and field supervision

Requirements

Proven Mini Excavator operating experience – REQUIRED
Commercial electrical experience – REQUIRED
Experience with underground electrical work preferred
Experience bending and running EMT conduit
Knowledge of electrical wiring, connections and terminations
Must be comfortable working around underground utilities and active construction areas
Must have reliable transportation
PPE required
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Immediate availability preferred

This is NOT an electrician-only position.

The primary need for this position is an experienced electrician who can safely and confidently operate a Mini Excavator.
