Senior Cost Accountant

Primary responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant include:

• Run monthly costs, manufacturing reports and other schedules
• Interpret and evaluate data for labor metrics and efficiencies
• Interface with operations personnel and other cross-functional areas to develop spend analysis
• Gather data necessary and to report daily production metrics for each unit
• Analyze and understand scrap and usage variations
• Create, analyze and post month end accruals for labor
• Month end depreciation schedule and posting

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of cost accounting with a manufacturing company
• Solid understanding of standard cost accounting
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
