This role is essential in ensuring efficient clinic operations, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient experience. The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to support both patient flow and revenue cycle processes.A Medical Assistant (MA) who excels in this role:Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.Documents patient care given.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.Maintains examination areas.Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.Applicants should be a graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent. Additional requirements include:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferredCCMA, CMA or RMA licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.Schedule: 5x8, Days (8a-5p)We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
