This person will be an individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. The role is located in our Northridge Office. The position offers a Hybrid work schedule with 3 day onsite/2 days remote. Responsibilities Designs, develops and provides safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Ensures that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards. Design studies and conduct research on enzyme reactions and the effects of organic compounds on biological processes. Participate in activities such as compound screening and compound optimization programs, and developing and running enzyme assays. Technical Specialist Career Stream An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. PR) locations (USD):$164,000.00 - $278,000.00 For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $181,000.00 - $309,000.00 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location.
