About the Role

• The tax manager will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, financial statement compilations and reviews, serving as the primary contact for clients, helping business owners grow and enhance the value of their companies, supervising client engagements, and training and mentoring staff.

Although we operate on a hybrid schedule, this role will require full-time in-office work during the initial training and ramp-up period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate, partnership and individual tax returns
• Prepare and review financial statement compilations and reviews
• Serve as primary contact for clients, working directly with them to help them meet their goals
• Help business owners grow and enhance the value of their companies
• Supervise, manage and schedule client engagements, bringing work to point of completion in accordance with deadlines and budgets
• Train and mentor senior accountants and other staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years' of experience of professional tax experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• CPA or EA is a must
• Taxes - 990, 1120-S, 1041 and 1065 experience
• Plus - International tax experience

Pay range and compensation package - Compensation is commensurate with experience.
