Outpatient Physical Therapist - Orthopedics Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule M-Th 8 AM - 5 PM; F 8 AM - 2 PM Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all therapy services for assigned patients and ensures the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and for personal development. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals. Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner according to guidelines. Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval. Participate in student programs, developing and supervising their learning objectives. Create individualized professional development plans and pursue continuous education. Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. CPR Certification. Active and applicable state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Orthopedic experience is required. Why ARMStaffing?
