Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Instructor of Neurology (Practitioner)

Position The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC seeks a full‑time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in the Neuro‑Critical Care ICU at Keck Hospital of USC. Candidates must have a current California nurse practitioner license and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner board certification , or a California license for physician assistant and national commission on certification of physician assistant (NCCPA) . Responsibilities Provide care to inpatients in the neuroscience intensive care unit at Keck Hospital of USC, a busy inpatient service caring for acutely ill patients with a variety of acute neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Experience in neurological intensive care is highly desirable. Qualifications Current California nurse practitioner license & adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner board certification California license for physician assistant & national commission on certification of physician assistant (NCCPA) Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high‑acuity critical care environment Benefits & Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $157,620 – $192,134.
