Job Description

Employed by Owensboro Health Medical Group. Provide quality inpatient care to patient admitted to hospital; admission and discharge of patients; follow up of inpatients (including rounds); appropriate coordination of specialist services; appropriate utilization of inpatient drugs and prescriptions upon discharge; appropriate medical record documentation and coding as well as communication with referring physicians when possible prior to patient admissions and updating Primary Care Physician's ("PCP") of any major change of care during admission. Location of Employment: Greenville, Kentucky with travel to Leitchfield, Kentucky only on an as needed basis.

Requirements: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent. Complete Internal Medicine residency program Able to obtain Kentucky medical license prior to commencement of employment.
