Ambulatory Pharmacist

PharmacistThis pharmacist position is responsible for patient care activities including clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving ambulatory care services at CoxHealth. The practice location will be focused on outpatient care areas. Additional responsibilities and teaching experiences will vary based on the position outline below as well as involvement in special projects. The individual must display maturity, independence, initiative, and strong communication skills. In addition, individuals will exemplify the CoxHealth mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with CoxHealth policies and procedures.Education:Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of PharmacyPreferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residencyPreferred: Completion of a second-year specialty residency in ambulatory care.Experience:Preferred: 3 years of pharmacy experience in the ambulatory or community setting OR 1 year pharmacy residencySkills:Proficiency with direct patient careExcellent verbal, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in collaboration with other disciplinesLicensure/Certification/Registration:Required: Missouri Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure.Required: MTM/MTS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hirePreferred: Certification in relevant area of practice within 4 years of starting the positionRequired: BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
