Senior Manager of Accounting

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will oversee core accounting operations across international entities, with a strong emphasis on statutory reporting, close governance, and technical accounting judgment. You will lead a team of accountants, partnering closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen controls, and improve process efficiency. The position also plays a key role in resolving complex accounting matters and supporting management with actionable financial insights. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $133,000 – $225,000 annually Responsibilities Provide oversight of the annual statutory reporting process across international entities Lead and develop a team of accountants with a focus on coaching and customer service Review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close deliverables for critical balance sheet areas Deliver monthly management reporting and analytics for Finance leadership Conclude on complex transactions under local GAAP and collaborate on US GAAP treatment Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners for financial guidance Drive close optimization and governance through process evaluation and automation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies 3 years of direct people management experience CPA or equivalent certification preferred Operational and technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP Benefits Discretionary annual bonus Restricted stock units granted at hire 401(k) match Comprehensive employee benefits package Remote work flexibility with reliable internet access Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
