Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, patient positioning, and maintaining sterile technique to uphold safety and infection control standards. Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, circulator nurses, and other OR staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety. Prepare the OR, verify equipment and supplies, and assist with turnover between cases. Document perioperative care and activity in the electronic health record, and communicate changes in patient condition to the team.
