Located in the north foothills of Rancho Cucamonga, Pinwheel Pasta features a full‑service restaurant, delivery, and curbside pick‑up. Work alongside our Executive Chef and culinary team to launch our beautiful new restaurant. THE ROLE Oak Quarry is seeking a talented Server/Cashier to join our Front of House department. Selected candidates will support our General Manager and Executive Chef in executing our service operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Prompt, efficient service and professionalism; the primary function is the service of food and beverage. Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating. Describe specials of the day to guests, answer questions regarding any menu item, and offer suggestions when appropriate. Take food and beverage orders and follow up to ensure satisfaction, replenishing items as needed. Participate in pre‑shift meetings and taste tests. Maintain an organized workstation and side‑work duties. Accountability for all checks and transactions. Incorporate safe work practices. Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders. Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food and delivery, and general service techniques. Practice positive teamwork and communication with co‑workers, management, and kitchen staff. QUALIFICATIONS No prior experience or training required. Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and associates. Frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, feel, or handle; taste or smell; reach with hands or arms. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Reliable and predictable attendance. Develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Active San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card.
