Headquartered in Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations across North America.Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Responsible for project development engineering activities, from first site visit through implementation to start up and commissioning, including:Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Site surveys and data collection on existing Client sitesBenchmarking of current site energy and operating costsAnalysis of opportunities for technical and operational improvementsDevelopment of conceptual designCosting of capital projects with and without external contractorsCosting of operation and maintenance componentsTechnical / cost modelingPreparation of Technical Sections of Client proposalsSupport Business Development with Client presentationsInterface with other Group experts, including within Dalkia France, Dalkia UK, Veolia Water North America, Veolia Environmental Services, Veolia Transport and external contractors and consultants, etc.Develop and manage external technical relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, etc.QualificationsEducation/Experience/Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar BS degree.3-5 years experience in the technical development of combustion related projects.Experience of working across various sectors. Ability to bring innovative energy services solutionsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Operational experience, not solely a theoristExperience with Google Office and Microsoft Office productsMotivated and resourceful, and dynamic person with ability to work independently and part of a teamGood interpersonal skillsExperienced and self-sufficient engineer, with knowledge of industrial processes such asUtility distribution systems including steam, hot and cold water, compressed air, chilled water, electricity, lighting, HVACEnergy process optimizationEnvironmental Aspects and requirements in an industrial environment.Mechanical and electrical facilities managementEngineering data management and design systems such as AutoCadAdditional InformationPay Range: $86000 to $96000 per yearBenefits: Veolia’s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
