High NA EUV - Scanner Engineer

Req ID: JR99800 High NA EUV - Scanner Engineer This role is based full time at the NYCreates site in Albany, New York and is critical to advancing Micron’s High NA EUV roadmap. You will collaborate closely with Technology Development and Equipment Development teams in Boise and Hiroshima, as well as suppliers and consortium partners, while safeguarding Micron’s intellectual property. The work is highly visible, technically deep, and crucial to future device scaling. Responsibilities Own High NA EUV scanner performance including availability, reliability, efficiency, and matching Lead equipment lifecycle activities such as installation, PM strategy, upgrades, fixing issues, and documentation Drive monitoring and improvement of imaging stability, overlay, focus, defectivity, and source performance Partner with vendors, NYCreates, facilities, and PAC teams on equipment, safety, and infrastructure requirements Act as technical authority for advanced numerical aperture EUV, offering mentorship, training, and recommendations to engineers and leadership Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of experience supporting sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing equipment Hands‑on experience with lithography equipment, performance monitoring, and excursion management Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical investigations Experience collaborating multi-functionally with vendors, facilities, and process teams Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or a related field Direct experience with EUV or High NA EUV scanners and related subsystems Experience in technology development or R&D fab environments Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring of engineers or technicians Experience working in consortium or multi-company environments Job Profile Equipment Engineer 4 Relocation Level TBD Salary Range $108,000.00 - $183,000.00 a year Equal Opportunity Employment Micron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
