Job Overview Morrison Healthcare at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian. Relocation assistance is available; new grads are encouraged to apply. Location: Morrison Healthcare at Piedmont Augusta Hospital – Augusta, GA. Setting: 585-bed hospital. Schedule: Full time; Monday – Friday with weekend rotation. Requirement: Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible. Position Details: primarily covers cardiac and renal floors. Salary: $65,000 – $70,000. Responsibilities Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian by providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting. Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes. Educate patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for sustainable wellness. Apply the latest evidence-based practice in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care. Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives (QAPI) to advance patient care and clinical excellence. Collaborate with the food service management team to support patient satisfaction and service goals. Mentor and develop staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable. Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible via CDR exam. Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
