McCody is seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of equipment, loading customers, and be willing to learn and perform the duties of a Precast Production Floor Hand. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner and producing precast concrete products.

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Monday - Friday
  
• 8-10 hour shift
• Potential 5-10+ hours overtime depending upon workload
• Start and end hours slide seasonally
  

Essential Roles, Responsibilities, and Duties:

The basic responsibilities of the Material Handler / Precast Production Floor Hand includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Operate and monitor equipment, including front-end loaders, gantry crane, overhead crane, skidsteers, forklifts, utility vehicles, and more.
  
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure safety, accuracy, and complete information.
• Maintain awareness of potential hazards on-site and report any safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with site cleanup and maintenance activities including maintaining yard and ensuring that work areas are clean and organized.
• Production set-up and stripping
• Concrete placement & finishing
• Welding & fabrication
• Assisting customers with loading purchases
• Shop upkeep & maintenance
• All other duties assigned
  

Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Reliable
• Self-motivated
• Positive attitude
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required

• Welding experience
• Familiar with power tools

Compensation:

• Pay DOE, $29.50-$32.50/hr
