Laundry Production Worker

Commercial Laundry Facility Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience. Job Overview Surfside Laundry in Foley, Alabama is hiring Laundry Production Workers to join our busy commercial laundry facility. This is a hands‑on position that helps keep laundry moving through each stage of production, from sorting and washing to drying, folding, finishing, packing, and staging orders for delivery. Key Responsibilities Sort laundry by type, customer, color, or cleaning requirements Load and unload washers, dryers, and other commercial laundry equipment Fold, stack, hang, press, or finish clean laundry items Inspect linens and laundry for quality, stains, damage, or missing items Pack, label, and stage completed orders for delivery Move laundry bags, carts, and supplies throughout the facility Keep production areas clean, organized, and safe Follow company procedures for quality, safety, and productivity Communicate with supervisors about equipment issues, order concerns, or supply needs Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals Assist in different departments as needed Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, warehouse, production, or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically active environment Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Must be able to stand, move, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry laundry bags, carts, linens, and supplies Comfortable working around commercial laundry equipment, heat, noise, and fast‑moving production areas Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity Schedule Various shifts may be available based on business needs. Schedule may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed. Compensation Pay range: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience.
