Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, groups, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of our adolescent population.

  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning interventions with their personal goals and mental health challenges.

  • Participate in weekly case management discussions with colleagues, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress using our secure telehealth platform, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Facilitate support groups that foster connection, resilience, and recovery among clients experiencing similar challenges.

  • Engage with the admissions team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients, providing initial assessments as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our services is on adolescents and young adults grappling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and suicidal ideation. By maintaining a manageable caseload, with a maximum of eight clients per group session, our therapists can build deep, meaningful therapeutic relationships that facilitate sustainable healing and lasting change.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • \n
  • Eligibility for independent licensure in California as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT; junior-licensed candidates will be considered with the provision of supervision.

  • Commitment to dedicating between 12 to 40 hours per week, depending on whether you choose a 1099 (contract) or W2 (employee) position.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in telehealth technologies and commitment to maintaining an engaging and responsive online presence.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Prior experience in providing mental health services to adolescents and young adults is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment, contributing to case discussions and shared learning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
