Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated  Production Lead to support daily operations within a manufacturing environment. This is a  hands-on working lead role responsible for assisting with production activities while helping guide a small team to meet daily output and quality goals.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting and some experience leading or supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Shift: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Schedule: Monday – Friday(Must be available to work weekends as needed)
• Pay Rate: $21-$23/Hr DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations by working alongside team members on the production floor
• Assist in coordinating workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
• Help train and guide team members on basic processes and work instructions following SOP’s
• Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
• Maintain quality standards while performing regular inspections and monitoring KPI’s
• Conduct and document QA Hourly checks
• Troubleshooting, ability to resolve light machine malfunctions
• Ensure team members follow safety guidelines and company policies
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and other relevant data. Generate and submit daily.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production updates, delays, or concerns
• Read and follow basic work orders (WO) and production instructions
• Assist with machine operation (such as wrapping or packaging equipment) as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+  years of experience in a manufacturing or production
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience working with blow molding or plastic injection

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to work around machinery and in varying temperatures
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to operate tools, equipment, or machinery
• Ability to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
