Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a Physician Assistant - Otolaryngology  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University  to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in the ENT clinic, including detailed medical histories and focused physical examinations.
• Develop clinical assessments, initiate appropriate diagnostic workups, and coordinate referrals to ENT subspecialties such as Facial Plastics, Head & Neck Oncology, Neuro-Otology, and related services.
• Participate in outpatient ENT subspecialty clinics evaluating patients, formulating treatment plans, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Review and manage outpatient referrals, respond to patient calls and electronic messages, process prescription refills, and follow up on diagnostic test results during dedicated administrative time.
• Participate in daily inpatient rounds with the ENT house-staff team, documenting patient progress, updating medical records, writing orders and progress notes, and communicating significant changes in patient condition to the supervising physician.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered otolaryngology care.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA
• DEA Certification

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
