Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite at our innovative outpatient office in Fernley, Nevada, where a warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits. You will be part of a supportive team, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with weekends off to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing range of motion, strength, gait patterns, and overall functional limitations to identify the specific needs of each individual.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, incorporating specific goals, exercise routines, and therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy and heat applications.

• Deliver quality physical therapy sessions that focus on improving patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination, while also addressing discomfort and pain management through various techniques.

• Guide patients in using assistive devices and teach walking techniques that promote mobility and independence, while also implementing strategies to prevent falls.

• Enhance patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) independently or with minimal assistance by focusing on skills such as dressing, bathing, and transferring safely.

• Instruct patients and their caregivers on effective exercise techniques and home therapy programs to support ongoing recovery and fall prevention efforts.

• Maintain comprehensive patient records, documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and functional assessments to ensure each patient's health information is accurate and up to date.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes elderly individuals and those recovering from surgeries or injuries, with special attention to common conditions such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease, and post-operative rehabilitation. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
