Standby Bus Driver (10-Month Position) Gananda Central School District is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Standby Bus Driver to join our Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position that follows the student school calendar. Standby Bus Drivers are assigned to various bus routes to provide coverage for driver absences and vacancies. This position is guaranteed 5 hours of pay per day. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $25.75 per hour 95% district contribution toward the Excellus High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) District contribution to a Health Savings Account (where applicable) Paid sick leave Membership in the New York State Retirement System Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, or the ability to obtain one Clean driving record Commitment to student safety and excellent customer service Paid Training Available Applicants who do not currently hold a CDL Class B license are encouraged to apply.
