BAE Systems is currently seeking a creative, innovative problem solver who are able to analyze, assess, anticipate, defend, and react to current and future attacks. Candidate should be capable of managing a team that is designing and implementing innovative protection schemes with rapidly evolving technologies used in various applications throughout the company.

Our Section Managers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:

• Manage a team of 10-15 engineers
• Help design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
• Shape capability group policy and governance
• Contribute to both near and long term technical roadmap objectives
• Liaise with customers and other external entities

Because of the need for consistent, inperson collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site . This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• This role requires stong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelors degree plus ten or more years of work experience.
• Additional critical skills include:
  • Leading an Engineering Team
  • Writing System Requirements
  • Defining System Architectures
  • Integrating Hardware and Software
  • Validating and Verifying the delivered solution
  • Championing Model Based Systems Engineering Adoption

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
We are very interested in candidates with 10 plus years or experience and any of the following experience:

• Section/Team lead experience
• Anti-Tamper domain knowledge
• Cryptographic algorithm knowledge
• Performance tracking and management
• Embedded systems development
• Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
• Developing positive customer relationships
• Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
• Championing AI adoption

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
