Warehouse Service Associate Job Summary The Warehouse Service Associate is responsible for preparing medical equipment for patient utilization by performing cleaning, disinfecting, operational checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on rental and customer-owned medical products. This role requires work to be performed at the service center and may also involve work at customer facilities based on operational needs. The position requires strong attention to safety, equipment handling, maintenance procedures, and documentation accuracy. Schedule Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Onsite Position Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Attend monthly safety meetings and maintain compliance with all safety procedures. Demonstrate proactive safety awareness and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Complete required safety, compliance, and medical testing activities on time. Participate in 5S and housekeeping activities. Identify and report safety concerns and take corrective action when necessary. Safely lift and carry up to 65 pounds using proper ergonomic techniques. Equipment Handling & Logistics Load and unload wheeled medical equipment weighing up to 1680 pounds using approved safety procedures. Move and maneuver medical products within service centers and customer locations. Secure medical products within truck beds safely and independently. Support delivery and removal operations as required. Repair & Maintenance Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping and mopping. Conduct routine cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance procedures on medical equipment. Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic issues. Perform preventive maintenance and before-patient inspections. Inspect equipment visually, manually, and audibly to identify repair or adjustment needs. Utilize hand tools, gauges, and electronic meters to complete maintenance tasks. Flexibility & Customer Support Adapt to changing daily schedules and operational priorities. Organize tasks effectively to meet customer and business demands. Maintain professionalism while working in high-pressure situations and scheduling conflicts. Documentation & Recordkeeping Complete records, reports, and documentation accurately. Read and interpret technical bulletins and repair instructions in English. Use PCs, tablets, smartphones, and other electronic systems for data entry and reporting. Perform basic data analysis and interpretation as required. Qualifications Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Comfortable using tools, gauges, and electronic devices. Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintenance procedures. Good communication and organizational skills.
