Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Trumbull, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a rewarding OTR position with competitive pay and modern equipment? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes that provide excellent mileage potential and performance bonuses. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving with our well-maintained fleet and consistent earning opportunities.
Home Time: Drivers are typically out for 1-2 weeks based on location and freight. We strive to ensure weekly home time, although 2-week periods may happen. Our schedule operates Monday through Saturday, allowing for a full 34-hour reset every Sunday.
Equipment: We maintain a fleet with trucks no older than three years, including Peterbilt 579s, International, and Freightliner models. All vehicles are equipped with inverters, refrigerators, and Qualcomm systems. Drivers can take their truck and trailer home, with secured parking responsibilities.
No Touch Freight: All loads are no-touch freight, primarily consisting of automotive shipments, with 70% drop and hook operations to minimize dock wait times.
Pay and Miles: Expect to earn between $1,350 and $1,600 weekly based on your hiring location, with weekly mileage ranging from 2,500 to 2,800 miles. The base rate is .45, .50, or .55 CPM, plus a $750 monthly performance bonus for completing 8,000 safe miles.
Running Area: Primarily east of I-35, dedicated drivers can log up to 3,000 miles a week. Our consistent freight lanes provide reliable mileage and earning potential.
Benefits: Health insurance starts the month following 60 days of employment, with vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401K program available. Dedicated accounts can be accessed after 90 days.
