Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 14:00–02:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a very high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Support comprehensive cardiac, STEMI, stroke, and behavioral health patient populations
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in holiday coverage — candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float between sister facilities nearby as needed per assignment requirements
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and facility policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience, with ER experience required within the last year — no exceptions
• Experience in a 200+ patient volume facility required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, and PALS
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard travel rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac, stroke, or behavioral health emergency care
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
