Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a 315-bed facility in Rio Rancho, NM. This contract-to-hire position offers a 13-week initial term with the potential for long-term placement.
Location:
- Rio Rancho, NM
Schedule/Hours:
- 4:30 PM shift start
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units, ensuring safe and effective medication use
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans
- Monitor and manage medication therapies according to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines
- Participate in medication reconciliation and patient counseling when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Pharmacy license required
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
