With 17 sites worldwide, the company is headquartered in Mainz, Germany, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and committed to sustainable development for society and the environment.Your ContributionIdentify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology marketsBuild and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with strategic growth objectivesLead opportunities through the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting to commercializationConduct commercial evaluations, opportunity forecasting, and CRM reportingServe as a primary customer contact for technical, application, and commercial discussionsTranslate customer needs into technical and business solutions utilizing SCHOTT Pharma's Drug Delivery Systems portfolioDevelop trusted relationships with customers and act as a strategic partner throughout the customer lifecycleRepresent SCHOTT Pharma at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry eventsMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth, partnership, and application opportunitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management to deliver customer solutions and support strategic initiativesEnsure compliance with Company policiesand the Code of ConductPromote a safe work environment [facility based or otherwise] by supporting EHS initiatives and adhering to safety regulations/protocolYour ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related technical field; additional business or commercial training is a plusExperience in business development, technical sales, product management, application engineering, project management, or a similar customer-facing roleIndustry experience within pharmaceutical packaging, drug delivery systems, biotechnology, medical devices, or healthcare preferredStrong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex technologies and translate customer requirements into effective technical and commercial solutionsKnowledge of pharmaceutical development processes, regulated environments, and customer applicationsProven ability to build and manage customer relationships while identifying and advancing business opportunitiesStrong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and revenue-growth orientationExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skillsDemonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentSelf-motivated, results-oriented professional with strong accountability and stakeholder management capabilitiesYour BenefitsExcellent healthcare benefits including medical, dental and visionShort and long term disability Tuition reimbursement Paid time offPet insurance Other supplemental benefits available upon electionPlease feel free to contact usYou can expect interesting tasks and challenging projects, as well as motivated and friendly teams in fields that influence our future.
