Urology Physician

Locums - Altoona, Pennsylvania - Urologist Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible urologist
• IMLC accepted
• Coverage needed:
  • August 31 (7:00 a.m.) - September 11 (7:00 a.m.)
  • September 16 (7:00 a.m.) - September 28 (7:00 a.m.)
• Please only present candidates who can cover the requested dates
• Initial coverage is to support a physician leave of absence
• Ongoing need averages one week per month after the initial assignment
• Monday 8:00 a.m. - Friday 5:00 p.m. schedule during ongoing coverage
• Combination of outpatient clinic and 24/7 call coverage during assigned week
• Light outpatient clinic schedule during the day
• Approximately 15-25 clinic patients per day
• APPs provide daytime inpatient rounding and consult coverage
• Physician oversees higher-acuity inpatient issues and provides physician-level support as needed
• Typical overnight call volume of 1-4 calls per night
