Job Description

Step into a rewarding, school-based role supporting high school students as a full-time School Psychologist near New Castle, DE. This in-person contract opportunity spans from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, engaging you at a high school campus where your expertise will make a direct impact each day.

Your work will focus on delivering comprehensive psychoeducational services, contributing to individual and school-wide strategies that help students thrive. You’ll conduct evaluations, author thorough reports, participate actively in IEP meetings, and collaborate with other education professionals to ensure holistic student support.

Key Qualifications:

Active Delaware School Psychologist license (must be provided upon application)
Previous school-based and high school experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated skill in psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and report writing
Familiarity with the IEP process and team collaboration in educational settings
Reliable transportation and ability to work in-person, five days a week
Willingness to complete district fingerprinting at start of assignment

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments for high school students
Prepare clear, comprehensive evaluation reports
Participate as an essential team member in IEP meetings
Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to support student needs
Maintain organized records in compliance with district and state guidelines
