What You'll Do
- Provide specialized CVOR nursing care within a fast-paced surgical environment
- Assist with pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for cardiovascular surgeries
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and communication
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Support patient recovery and provide education pre- and post-surgery
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- Minimum 2 years CVOR and general OR experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility)
Preferred:
- Prior travel or perioperative nursing experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
