- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Pay Rate: $19.85-$21.26 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: M-F 5:30 AM-1:30 PM and every Saturday 5:00 AM-10:00 AM
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training - preferred
- Phlebotomy certification - preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum of 6 months experience - Required
- One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Overtime expected based on staffing needs.
- Weekend availability required (every Saturday, 5:00 AM-10:00 AM).
- On-call availability required.
