Vice President, Translational Research
Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines seeks a Vice President of Translational Research to lead cancer pharmacology strategy and operations supporting RAS-targeted oncology programs. This role combines scientific leadership of pharmacology and operations teams with cross-functional strategy development and oversight of translational research supporting clinical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute forward translation strategies for RAS-driven cancers with internal pharmacology team
- Lead data harmonization and integration initiatives across organization for decision-making
- Oversee cancer pharmacology group and translational research operations team
- Champion AI/ML and modern data infrastructure integration in research organization
- Foster external collaborations with academic centers, CROs, and scientific experts
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading cancer pharmacology or translational research functions
- Proven track record managing diverse scientific teams in drug discovery/development
- Strong expertise in in vivo pharmacology, PK/PD analysis, and biomarker strategy
- Experience with preclinical CRO management and regulatory interactions
- Demonstrated ability to integrate computational and AI/ML approaches into research strategy
- Cross-functional collaboration skills across R&D, development, and clinical functions
