Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers Needed - Make a Meaningful Impact

Everest Hospice is seeking compassionate veterans to serve as Vet-to-Vet Volunteers , providing companionship and support to fellow veterans receiving hospice care. This unique opportunity connects those who share military experience, creating meaningful bonds rooted in camaraderie, respect, and understanding.

As a veteran volunteer, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact by honoring service, listening to stories, and offering presence during an important stage of life.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit veteran patients for companionship and conversation
• Share stories, experiences, and camaraderie
• Participate in recognition ceremonies (e.g., pinning or honoring service)
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Help ensure no veteran feels alone

Who We’re Looking For:

• U.S. military veterans from any branch or era
• Individuals with empathy, reliability, and strong listening skills
• Those able to commit a few hours per month
• No medical experience required—training is provided
